Who Can Register?

Documents Required
- Aadhaar number of the proprietor/partner/director (mandatory)
- PAN number of the enterprise (mandatory from April 2021)
- GSTIN (if applicable)
- Bank account details
- Details of investment in plant and machinery and annual turnover
No physical documents need to be uploaded — the data is verified automatically from government databases (Aadhaar, PAN and GSTIN systems).
How to Register Online
Step 1: Visit udyamregistration.gov.in.
Step 2: Click "For New Entrepreneurs who are not Registered yet as MSME." Enter your Aadhaar number and PAN and validate via OTP.
Step 3: Fill in the enterprise details — name, type, address, bank details, NIC code for activity and investment/turnover figures.
Step 4: Submit the form. The Udyam Registration Certificate is generated immediately and sent to the registered email. There is no government fee for Udyam Registration.
